When I first moved to North Dakota a few years ago, I was worried about how cold the temperatures could get and what I would do if the power went out, considering the temperature can get down to -30° F and even lower. Because of this, I decided to buy down to make a full-length weatherproof coat. Turns out I had bought too much down and had way more than what was needed.I ended up making a coat that had me sweating while it was -20°F and a down blanket I would kick off from it getting too hot.This is definitely high quality down and a little goes a long way! As someone who learned from trial and error, you will need a special fabric to work with this down since it is so fine and will permeate any fabric that is not woven close enough together.If you get fabrics made specifically for down though, it will be a treat. There is no pokiness from this down, it is extremely soft and extremely fluff. Overall, I would say that it's an excellent quality product and I would buy it again. 10/10 would recommend.
